Dallas Real Estate

Dallas, Texas is a large sprawling city.  With over 1 million residents in the Dallas City limits it's one of the largest cities in Texas.  With Fort Worth and surrounding cities Dallas or DFW is the 4th largest metro city in America.  Ever changing and always on the move Dallas has very bright future with urban developments and a rapidly growing downtown commercial and residential area.  The Dallas Real Estate market is broken down into several area's.  The South metro area is older and has the cultural diversity that gives you a true urban environment.  Downtown is the business hub for many law firms, financial firms, and other eclectic business's.  The Downtown area was not known for residential housing, but within the past 10 years and development of the American Airlines Center, the Downtown is growing rapidly with high rise condos and town homes.

On the East side you have some great neighborhoods that are anchored by White Rock Lake which is home to one of the best marathons in the country.  On the West side you will find a diverse neighborhood that is seeing a transformation from old to the new.  Tear downs are popular on the west side with new residents taking advantage of the large lots that were home to older homes from the 40's and 50's.

North of Downtown you will find the Uptown area and North Dallas.  This is a very affluent area that includes the neighborhoods of Highland Park and University Park.  You will also find Southern Methodist University in this area.  Home prices in this area range from the 300's to millions.

Dallas Homes for Sale

With thousands of homes, condos, and town homes for sale in the Dallas Homes for Sale market there is always something available for you at any price range.  For the bargain shoppers the South or East side of the metro area will allow you to find a fixer upper or home that might not have the space but price you desire.  Downtown is fast paced and you will find high rise developments or older buildings being transformed into lofts.  Uptown is chic with upscale restaurants and high end homes.  North of town you will find large homes with large lots.  Dallas has everything for anyone.
